At Current Force we view our Corporate Responsibility to our own Staff, that of our Suppliers and the local Environment seriously.

Staff

In August 2003 the Directors of Current Force made an Executive decision to ensure Directly Employed Staff, Agency Workers and Staff employed by Suppliers and Manufacturers would be treated in a fair manner.

As a result, each Staff Member had their Contract of Employment reviewed, and with their consent bought into line with Legislation as a minimum, with Best Practice being aimed for in general.

The Working environment was also reviewed and improved where found necessary.

These items continue to be discussed and reviewed during the regular Directors Meetings.

We have an Equal Opportunities Policy, and this is adhered to vigorously. Moving forward we will endeavour, where appropriate, to employ staff that live locally, thus enhancing the local economy, as well as ensuring a better 'Work/Life' balance for our Staff.

Suppliers

Our Supply Chain has also been reviewed. Current Force has always looked to provide the highest quality items to our Clients; invariably these are manufactured by Multi-National Companies who in our experience use Best Practice in all their processes and procedures. Where we are unable to source from the Manufacturer directly, we look to use Suppliers who are pinnacles in their areas of expertise, again with 'Best Practice' supporting their operations.

Environmental

In August 2003, a Company Environmental Policy and Procedure was introduced. At that time we also introduced recycling of paper - where appropriate, and ensured that Lamps returned to us once spent were Re-cycled. We have since signed an agreement with a Specialist who we act as an Agent for thus ensuring that any Lamps, Batteries or PC equipment our Clients ask us to recycle are handled and disposed of correctly.

Corporate Sponsorship

Each year a specific Charity is chosen by the Directors. Historically we have given money to aid Local Schools, the Police Benevolent Fund and Child Road Safety. We also assign monies for Charities that our Staff and Client's Staff personally raise money for.
