BALLASTS AND TRANSFORMERS

The most important advance in fluorescent lamp technology (including in CFLs) has been the gradual replacement of magnetic ballasts with electronic ballasts; this has removed most of the flickering and slow starting traditionally associated with fluorescent lighting. Electronic ballasts are much more energy efficient than their predecesors.

We supply an extensive range of low voltage transformers and high frequency ballasts and other electronic control gear. With Digital Dimming (both Analogue & DALI) systems becoming more widespread in Commercial situations, the breadth of these controllers is vast.

Magnetic Ballasts are no longer installed in OEM situations, and have long since been superseded by their Electronic counterparts.
